AVE (high Speed train) departs from Atocha station, just 1.7 km from the hotel. It is reachable within 8 minutes by taxi or 20 minutes if you decide to take a walk. The building dates back to the beginning of the century, although it opened as a hotel only a few years ago. It was renovated in 2000 and still has the original façade of 1917.
