The hotel Victory Business hours of the reception: 24 hours The Victory Hotel is a welcoming and exclusive hotel with a personal atmosphere in a perfect location in Gamla Stan, Stockholm's charming Old Town. Actually, the hotel is an attraction in itself. On display throughout the hotel is a unique, private collection of maritime antiques, passionately selected by the collector himself, the hotel's founder and owner, Gunnar Bengtsson. This building is also where 5 workers found Loheskatten, Sweden's largest silver treasure, on an October day in 1937. The find contained 18,000 silver coins and several silver objects that had been buried here in the 18th century. We provide a total of 45 rooms and guests can choose between Captain Johansson's Luxury Suite, Captain's Grand Cabins, Captain's Deluxe Rooms, Captain's Superior Rooms, Captain's Standard Rooms, Captain's Single Rooms, Captain's Cabin Rooms and apartments. Enjoy a comfortable stay in our charming rooms that are adorned with a crystal chandelier and beautiful antique furniture as well as containing a double or king-size bed, a desk and a mini-bar. The bathroom has underfloor heating and features a shower, hairdryer and cosy bathrobes with matching slippers. The room also includes a trouser press, a safe, air-conditioning, a flat-screen TV and an internet access. The historic cellar, including the remains of one of Stockholm's medieval defense towers, is where the restaurant Leijontornet serves innovative prize-winning Nordic cuisine that originates from traditional Swedish cooking and incorporates an organic approach.
