The hotel Ramada Encore York An excellent hotel in York with a location that is hard to beat. Provides excellent value for money for a modern hotel. (KB 04/07) Completed in June 2002 the hotel is a very modern structure, with parking onsite for coaches, while parking for cars is available at the nearby NCP car park. There is no restaurant, but a continental buffet breakfast can be taken in a spacious and well-presented breakfast area with adjacent cafe bar. The lobby is modern with contemporary decor, and has a small lounge seating area. Situated within the city walls within easy walking reach of all the major tourist attractions, the hotel has an ideal location, just minutes from the riverside, shopping area and York Minster. The hotel is also about 10 minutes from York train station and also provides easy access to the A59 and A64 with easy access to Harrogate and Leeds.
