Concert venues, museums and new housing blocks have taken over Glasgow’s old shipyards along the River Clyde. Glasgow once produced one fifth of the world’s ships but today it’s tourism that fuels the city’s economy. The riverbank has received a massive rejuvenation, that will attract tourists for years.

Jet2.com is getting ready to add two new and very exciting destinations to their flight network, taking off from Glasgow Airport. Passengers taking off from Glasgow in summer 2013 will not also be able to fly to Barcelona and Rome on board Jet2.com. Flights to Rome and Barcelona will operate year-round.
