The UBS Hong Kong Open is scheduled to begin on November 18th in Fanling and conclude three days later, with all the action taking place as part of the European Tour.

It is the last event of the season in which players can try their best to reach the top 60 of the rankings and therefore progress to the Dubai World Championship the following week.

And with numerous cheap hotels in Hong Kong, it could be a perfect day out for those with an interest in the sport.

Before then, however, avid watchers of the game can catch upcoming legs of the tour in France, Scotland or Wales for the famous Ryder Cup.

Last year’s overall winner was Lee Westwood of England.
