However, according to a piece in the Globe and Mail, the watering hole is one of the most important facets of any respectable accommodation.
In particular, the news source continues, the city has plenty of exciting options for anybody hoping to get a chilled Canadian cocktail.
It suggested visiting the Gladstone – Toronto’s “oldest continually operated hotel” – to experience the weekend karaoke nights which are said to have left celebrities such as Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling as regulars.
What’s more, the Hotel Le Germain in the metropolis recently knocked down a wall between its lobby and restaurant Victor to create more of an open dining space.
If your taste is more for the United Arab Emirates, though, it might be time book some Dubai flights, with Hotels.com recently rating the Skyview Bar in Burj Al Arab as one of the best in the world, according to Reuters.
