Heroes' Square: Hungarian history lives in this large central square. It has become a major site and attraction for every visitor in Budapest. The square is surrounded as well by two of Budapest’s best art galleries, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Palace of Art.
Szechenyi Thermal Baths: Thermal baths are essential to any visit to Budapest. Szechenyi is one of the larger ones and it is arguably the most beautiful. It was built in 1881 on top of a thermal spring that still feeds the pools today.
Statue Park: A collection of Communist statues have found new homes in a park outside of the city centre. Many of them were destroyed but a Hungarian group saved some to preserve an important part of Hungarian and European history at this open-air museum.
