Planning a dream holiday in Fiji? This country's incredible coasts and islands will certainly charm! Search for flights to Nadi International Airport (NAN), the country's main international airport, onboard Cathay Pacific, Virgin Australia, British Airways and Air Pacific. Suva Airport (SUV) also welcomes some international flights.
Fiji is gorgeous year-round thanks to its location in the South Pacific. There are only slight variations in temperature during the year. Tropical cyclones (aka hurricanes) can occur between November and April.
Flights to Fiji from London take at least 26 hours with one stopover. Often flights have 2 stopovers.
Formed by a volcano, today Fiji attracts visitors from around the world for its coral reefs (perfect for diving), beaches, culture and of course the sunshine! Explore the tropical rain forests, go white-water rafting, tour a coconut plantation or just laze on the beach all day.
Coral Coast: Between Nadi and Suva, the Coral Coast is a premiere destination. Pacific Harbour and its Arts Village is the best place for a bit of shopping. Sunset Strip has some great restaurants, most with the perfect vantage point for watching the sun set.
Yasawas: North-western Fiji, the Yasawa Islands are home to about 30 resorts across the 12 islands. Hiking is most popular here and of course diving (which is extremely cheap) and snorkelling too.
Suva: Suva has been the capital of Fiji since 1877 and shouldn't be missed while visiting. Take a trip to the Fiji Museum, shop for local wood carvings and handicraft souvenirs at the Suva Municipal Market and catch a rugby game, the locals are crazy for it!
