Guadeloupe is a gorgeous part of the world. These Caribbean islands are paradise with their white-sand beaches, turquoise waters and tropical, yet French culture. Let’s explore Grande Terre’s beaches, Base Terre’s volcanoes and the bays of Les Saintes.
St Francois: On the very eastern part of Guadeloupe, you’ll reach a place called “La Pointe des Chateaux,” a peculiar place with rocks and sand that are shaped like a castle. From here you can see a handful of other islands and the views are pretty stunning.
Anse Bertrand: There really are some beautiful spots around the islands and this is one of them. Porte d’Enfer is a beautifully calm strip of sea between two coral reefs. If you continue walking along the cliff, you’ll discover a geyser that spurts up from the pressure of the sea.
Gosier: Guadeloupe has some great nightlife and if you want a taste, then Gosier is the place to be. There are dozens of nightclubs but be prepared to dress the part, no shorts or sneakers are allowed.
