Essentials in Las Vegas
Bellagio Fountains: The water ballet in front of the Bellagio Hotel & Casino became famous after the success of the film Ocean’s 11. Imagine the synchronisation of 1,000 fountain nozzles, 4,500 lights and 27 million gallons of water.
The Roller Coaster: The Coney Island-inspired New York New York roller coaster has a 144 foot dive and a 360° somersault. It reaches a height of 200 feet which offers the most spectacular view of the Strip as well as an amazing replica of New York’s skyline.
Stratosphere: This is an enormous observation tower at the north end of the Boulevard. It is a great place to go in the evenings and watch the hotels light up one by one. In the theatre, catch the best celebrity impersonators show around.
Casinos: Of course gambling is big business here. The top casinos are New York, Orleans, Monte Carlo, Circus Circus, Venetian, Luxor, and Caesar’s Palace.
