Mexico City: The capital of Mexico is a sprawling mess but this is where all the fun is! It is one of the largest cities in the world and cannot be missed. It's all here: Aztec ruins, majestic parks, lush gardens, colonial architecture, grand museums, buzzing nightlife and the best Mexico food scene in the country.
Cancun: For beach time, Cancun is a popular choice. Its beaches are top-notch and the waters here are crystal blue and clear. There are lots of opportunities to go hiking, see some ruins and scuba dive. If you're not one for crowds of drunken Americans, avoid Cancun during Spring Break like the plague.
Chichen Itza: This UNESCO World Heritage Sight is home to the most famous Mayan ruins in Mexico.
