Compared to Thailand, Myanmar tends to be a bit more expensive but that doesn’t mean you won’t find cheap hotels in Myanamar! En-suite rooms are most expensive in Yangon but elsewhere they’re entirely reasonable. Be aware that power outages are common, even if hotels boast they have generators.
