Central Parks: Southampton has some stunning parks to visit. Established in the 19th century, these parks have recently gotten a £4.5m facelift thanks to a lottery grant.
Theatres: One of the best things to do in Southampton is going to the theatre. Have your choice between The Mayflower (West End), The Nuffield Theatre (Shakespeare), Turner Sims Concert Hall (classical and jazz) or the Harbour Lights Picture House.
