For the second quarter in a row, Leeds Bradford airport has been named as the UK airport to have the highest percentage of on time flights and the airport which registers the largest year on year improvement.
Passengers at Leeds Bradford had an average delay of 10 minutes in quarter three, 2015, whilst numbers show that the average delay across all of UK airports was 15 minutes.
You can see the improvement managed by Leeds Bradford when you compare 2015 numbers to 2014’s. In quarter 3, 2014 Leeds Bradford’s average delay time was 11 minutes.
Leeds Bradford Airport’s Aviation Development Drector, Tony Hallwood, said, “Leeds Bradford Airport are very pleased that our hard work working closely with our airline partners has delivered once again a high and improving level of on time performance.
The CAA analysis shows that our commitment has delivered the best result of any UK airport with 84% of LBA’s flights departing on time.”
So when you are considering which UK airport to fly from on your next cheap holiday, Leeds Bradford would be the best bet if you hate delays.
