The list of the most ethical travel destinations for 2015 have been revealed, but this year’s list has scratched off the Bahamas, Barbados and Latvia from last year’s list.
All three of these countries were among the Ethical Traveller’s 10 most ethical destinations last year but got cut from this year’s list which includes countries from all over the world, including one in Europe. Here’s the complete line-up (in no particular order of merit):
- Cabo Verde
- Chile
- Dominican Republic
- Lithuania
- Mauritius
- Palau
- Samoa
- Tonga
- Uruguay
- Vanuatu
This is a great list for travellers to use if they want to make a positive impact on the world, by supporting local economies through tourism who are doing good for the world in terms of human rights, animal welfare and the environment. The list only includes countries from the developing world that also have travel appeal as a destination for international visitors.
Which of these countries would you most like to visit?
