If partying in an unusual place is your bag, you might want to drop everything, rush to the computer and start booking cheap flights to Beijing.
Why? Because the Great Wall Tanglewood Music Festival is upon us – and rocking out in the shadow of one of the biggest tourist attractions of all time is potentially going to appeal to anybody looking to keep in tune.
According to What’s On When, the event will begin on August 27th and run for an action-packed two days in Beijing’s Tanglewood area, which is surrounded by meadows and a lake. It may sound picturesque – and it undoubtedly is – but don’t worry, there will be plenty of rocking beats emanating from the Great Wall to keep the fête edgy.
Both Chinese and international musicians will be playing their hearts out atop the stages at the festival, with three separate arenas carved out to represent different genres of music.
However, if you’re more inclined to look for Toronto flights for your auditory pleasures, the Scotiabank BuskerFest – beginning on August 26th – might tickle your fancy.
