British Airways is getting ready to launch a brand new route on June 1, 2011 from London Heathrow to San Diego, California… direct! Beach bums, your dreams have now come true. Snag up seats on this flight and let the good times roll.
British Airways will soon be the only airline offering a direct route between San Diego and Europe once their new service starts on the first of June. The airline isn’t just offering it for those interested in spending their holidays on the beaches of California however. There are many business and technology firms located in the San Diego area and BA hopes to target the business travellers.
Mission Beach. Pacific Beach. Cycling along boardwalks with the salty breeze in your hair. It’s not just the visitors that think they’re in paradise in San Diego, the locals believe it too! The city buzzes, it moves, the sands are white and the weather sunny. As far as culture and diversity goes, San Diego’s varied neighbourhoods offer a little flavour of everything, packed into pretty packaging.

BA hasn’t operated this route in almost eight year and the locals, business travellers and holiday goers are more than thrilled. The airline will operate the service with Boeing 777 with Club World, World Traveller Plus and World Traveller classes.
