If you’re one of the millions that love Top Gear and you’ve always wished you could join the trio in racing around the track, then you’re in luck. The Top Gear Test Track is now open to the public, but it doesn’t come without an appropriate price tag. Budget travellers, beware!

The Top Gear Track Experience
There are 8 different packages to choose from, starting with the “Star In a Reasonably Priced Car” where you drive timed laps around the track to a total off-road experience in a Land Rover Defender. And just so you have proof of your drive to show your friends and post on Facebook,
“You’ll be filmed by an onboard camera. We’ll give you the footage at the end of the day, so you can replay your laps and watch your face go a bit weird at the Hammerhead… Or show your friends how fast you were while definitely not pressing the fast-forward button.”
The packages range from £85 to £175 for the adults, while there are a few £45-£75 options for younger visitors, ages 11-17, to try some off-roading in a Range Rover Evoque (with a qualified instructor along for the ride). If you don’t fancy being in the driver’s seat but want to experience it, the Hot Lap only costs £60 and you’ll be driven around the track at top speed by one of the track’s daredevil drivers.
