Hopping off cheap flights to Dubai can be daunting for anyone who has never been to the state before, but now that panic about where to go and how to get there could vanish simply by using the Dubai Travel Pass.
Launched by the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA), it has been designed to give eager jet-setters who can’t wait ditch their baggage in cheap hotels in Dubai and see the sights and sounds of the region an overview of the metro, bus and water bus.
According to Peyman Younes Parham, director of marketing and corporate communication, the package comes with two pre-paid cards and booklets about transportation systems, great places to check out and other information such as emergency service numbers, embassies and the police.
“Through rolling out this initiative, RTA is intending to ease the mobility of tourists across Dubai, while also make their visit a memorable experience,” he remarked.
If what you’re after is an authentic taste of the area, head to residential region Al Bastakiya, which the National believes is the feather in the emirate’s cap.
