Ryanair has launched a new suitcase with Samsonite, the world’s leading luggage manufacturer. The bag, donning Ryanair’s colours of navy blue and yellow, complies with the airline’s strict carry-on luggage restrictions, when of course it is packed properly.
One of the easiest ways to save money on Ryanair flights is to avoid checked luggage. It is the fastest way to see your low cost airline ticket fare double or triple in price so Ryanair has decided to make it easier on its passengers with their new product. The suitcase complies with the airline’s carry-on bag dimensions (55 x 40 x 20cm) and costs £69 which includes free delivery anywhere in Europe and is sold only on the Ryanair website.
The bag is meant to encourage passengers to only take carry-on luggage, making it easy for them to know just how much they’re allowed. The bag is soft-sided however, so if it is not packed properly and you try to over-stuff it, the bag will look inflated and Ryanair staff will ask you to place it in the baggage-sizer at the gate. If if does not fit then it will have to be checked-in for the fee of £35 at the airport.
