Thinking of booking some cheap flights to Beijing? Then you could be just in time, as the city’s Park Festival has just a few days left.

It began on August 18th and runs until November 17th at the Summer Palace and a host of other parks, and offers tourists and residents alike a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the green spaces around the metropolis.

Now that the weather is distinctly cooler, it could be worth drawing out the last feel of summer at the outdoor festivals, which include traditional Chinese dancers – something that could prove fascinating for people interested in the country’s cultural history.

In addition, classical Chinese music vies with more modern sounds and the whole shebang is sure to be an unforgettable experience for anybody staying in cheap hotels in Beijing.

Elsewhere, Peter Danford, owner of The China Guide, recently recommended the area as a good option for travellers with children.
