Anyone planning on taking the cheapest flights to Shanghai this summer may wish to visit some of the city’s most charming temples as part of their trip.
Cheap flights to Shanghai could be a popular option for holidaymakers seeking a cultural break that can also offer the hustle and bustle of one of China’s most cosmopolitan and buzzing urban areas.
According to a travel guide on helium.com, it can take several days to see all of the city’s picturesque religious places of worship, but travellers with little time to spare may be interested to note that the website recommends three of these landmarks in particular.
Firstly, the Jade Budda Temple, which is one of the city’s few active temples. Then, the guide states that “leisurely walks around” the area of the Confucian Temple in the old town are a must for visitors, before heading to the Ohel Moishe Synagogue.
Meanwhile, Crienglish.com reported last month that romantics may like to take a stroll down Shanghai’s Sweet Love road.
