It’s official. The Milan Expo 2015 is well on its way and tickets are finally on sale for the six-month event. Tickets are available on both Alitalia and Etihad Airways websites, the official global carriers of the event.
The Expo, or the World Fair, is one of the largest public exhibitions in the world and this year it’s Italy’s turn to host this grand event, with Milan being chosen as the host city. The Expo will kick off on May 1st and run until October 31st, 2015 and it will be a highlight in the cultural calendar for this year.
If you’re planning on, booking flights to Milan for the Expo later in the year, now is definitely the time to book your event tickets. There is an early promotion on now, with a discount of 20% on all tickets purchased before April 2015. The airlines are estimating that 8 million people from around the world will fly to Italy for the event!
Day tickets are currently €32 and can be used on any day for the Expo, between 9:00 and 23:00.
