British Airways is hoping to tempt travellers this winter with brand new destinations departing from London Gatwick Airport, with plenty of sun on the menu!
For European getaways additional seats will be up for grabs on seven new flights to Funchal, Faro, Seville and Turin starting October 27th. Flights are now available to book and will operate until the end of March, 2016.
Winter sun destinations are the most popular, so it’s no wonder BA is concentrating on adding more services and seats to these places. British Airways also announced they would be adding 48 flights to another 14 European destinations including Bari, Cagliari, Catania, Naples, Malaga, Ibiza, Heraklion, Rhodes, Thessaloniki, Paphos, Dubrovnik, Faro, Dalaman and Bodrum.
When it comes to European flights, it’s really worth comparing between low cost airlines and regular airlines. While British Airways flights are no doubt more expensive than Ryanair’s or easyJet’s, they also offer a generous free baggage allowance, free check-in, seat allocation and complimentary food and drinks onboard. Depending on when you book, you could actually end up paying less to fly with a regular airline for your flights to Seville, or wherever you may go.
