Norwegian continues to expand its long-haul network with new routes and more departures on existing flights and connections. Their target market? The transatlantic one.
It sounds like it must be quite the cash-cow, with Virgin Atlantic also pulling some of its major routes in order to concentrate on the transatlantic market. Norwegian is doing the same. A new direct service will be launched between London Gatwick and Orlando as well as flights between Copenhagen and Orlando.
On top of this, Norwegian is also adding more weekly departures between London Gatwick and New York, London Gatwick and Los Angeles, Oslo and LAX, as well as Stockholm and San Francisco.
These new routes and offerings will be up and running by next spring, following the huge success Norwegian Air has had so far on its direct flights between Europe and the USA.
The flights between London Gatwick and Orlando will officially launch on April 4th, flying once a week on Saturdays.
