All we can say is that we’re peach with envy for all the travellers that book tickets onboard Peach, the low cost airlines based at Osaka’s Kansai Airport, who has just signed a partnership deal with Hello Kitty.
This isn’t the first time Hello Kitty has teamed up with an Asian airline. The first was EVA Airways which saw the famous girl-cat’s face plastered all over six airplanes and a brand new line of Hello Kitty-inspired in-flight catering launched. This new partnership with low cost airline Peach, a subsidiary of All Nippon Airways, features the cartoon in her signature colours of pink, purple and white.
Peach has introduced a brand new collector’s item called the “Revoltech Hello Kitty Peach” toy, which costs 2,300 JPY (£13) plus tax and can be found for sale online and within Peach’s own shop at Osaka-Kansai Airport in Terminal 2.
For now there won’t be any Peach aircraft that are plastered with Hello Kitty’s face but we think a personalised toy is a step in the right direction. Plus, we can’t think of a better travel companion on our next flight to Tokyo, can you?
