Turin is buzzing with chocolate right now! Wondering where you can find the most chocoholics in one place? It’s definitely Turin, the chocolate capital of Italy, as they celebrate Cioccolato this month.
Last year’s chocolate festival brought in a half million visitors to the city. The festival takes place in the Piazza Vittorio Veneto, in the centre of the city. The square is bordered by a ton of local shops, fashion boutiques and of course delicious Italian restaurants.
Cioccolato celebrates the craftsmanship of chocolate-making so you can bet there will be plenty of demonstrations and chances to taste the creations. Join a workshop, let by a prestigious Italian chocolate maker and learn to create your own cacao-based sweets or learn to cook with chocolate. Many restaurants feature menus this week with chocolate-themed dishes… what a treat!
