Germany has welcomed more than 20 million international visitors so far this year. Those are whopping good stats and it just goes to show that the world just can’t get enough of this country’s cities and wurst!
According to the latest figures from the Federal Statistical Office, just under 20 million overnight stays were generated in Germany by international visitors between January and April of this year. That’s an increase of 4.3% compared to last year, about 800,000 more overnight stays.
Germany is rising to the top of its game and is becoming an increasingly popular tourist destination in Europe. The Western European country is particular popular with Chinese travellers but also South American ones, with a significant number of tourists arriving from Brazil.
