The low cost giant Ryanair has finally joined the world of Twitter with a new account dedicated to following Ryanair flights in real-time. Introducing @RyanairFlights.

A spokesman for Ryanair said,

“Over 100,000 people already follow our official @Ryanair Twitter account for the latest Ryanair news, special fare offers and dedicated customer service and we look forward to rolling out further digital innovations, as we continue to offer so much more than just the lowest fares.”

The new account has 885 followers to date but this number is sure to grow rather quickly as passengers start using it to get real-time flight updates for their journeys. How does it work? Just follow @RyanairFlights with your Twitter account and send them the flight number that you’re interested in. You’ll receive an instant reply with the up-to-date flight details.
