Dublin’s Guinness Storehouse has been named Europe’s leading tourist attraction.

It was announced the winner, beating Buckingham Palace, Eiffel Tower and Rome’s Colosseum in the prestigious World Travel Awards.

The Storehouse, which tells visitors the story and origin of Guinness has welcomed 13 million visitors since opening in 2006.

Beating such iconic attractions is a real success for The Storehouse and Dublin tourism. Because it was a public vote it’s an even greater achievement for the attraction as the award suggests that the visitors received a more memorable experience which surpassed their expectations.
