Planning trips can be confusing, especially when you’re hoping to sightsee round a big country – but a new service may help anybody jumping off a cheap flight to Beijing.

The China Guide, a travel agency based in the city, has launched a new facet to its website in the form of a Build Your Own Tour system.

Through this, users can note areas they wish to visit and certain attractions they feel are unmissable and input this into the data form, which should then create an itinerary for them.

Manager Judy Huang said the design was “simple and user-friendly“, adding: “Our do-it-yourself tour system lets our guests customise their itinerary to design a trip that suits their needs.”

So if you’ve been hesitating about whether to book those Beijing flights, this could be the impetus you need.

Furthermore, there’s plenty to see and do in the metropolis – why not take a gander at The 48 Hour Film Project, a two-day challenge for movie-makers to cast, write and shoot a short picture which allows audiences to vote for their favourite?

It begins on July 30th.
