Haunted houses are quite possibly the scariest activity you could do this Halloween; they’re not for the weak hearted that’s for sure. You’re usually alone, in a dark and old house, running from zombies and various other scary creatures that are ready to jump out at any corner.

If you’ve booked your flights to the U.S for this Halloween, then you should do some research around the best Halloween activities in your area.

The 13th gate is well regarded for its ultra-realism, it’s often said that the guests are not sure if the scenes they are experiencing are real or fake.

The attraction includes: a real snake-infested Louisiana Swamp, nightly voodoo shows, claustrophobic cellars, hidden subterranean passages and even a prehistoric ice cave.

The house is constantly changing and evolving, adding modern day fears and anxieties to the attraction. Visitors could quite happily visit on an annually basis and never get bored.

Netherworld, Atlanta

Netherworld Haunted House is a walk-through dark attraction filled with terrifying live actors, spine chilling special effects and a journey you will never forget.

Their best attraction the Rotting tells the story of witches and evil spirts that drain the life out of humans, causing them to decay and be overcome by hunger for human flesh. This is not recommended for young children – which means you know it is going to be good.
