Vietnam is opening the doors to British travellers this summer, in hopes of attracting more tourists than ever to the country’s cities and scenic regions.
Travellers with British passports will be able to travel visa-free to Vietnam this summer, as long as they’re planning to stay for 15 days or less. The new regulations went into effect on July 1st and will continue until next summer, June 30th, 2016.
How much will travellers save? A whole £54 on the cost of a single-entry visa. The policy doesn’t just include British travellers but also visitors from France, Germany, Spain and Italy planning flights to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam’s other hubs.
This new move came after the government was criticised for the country’s falling tourist numbers.
