It’s World Fashion Day so we’re travelling in style to the world’s fashion capitals: from Paris to London, Milan to New York, these cities have infinite style and are the places people flock for the latest runway trends. This one is for you, fashionistas.

London

London

London’s fashion sights cover the entire spectrum from fashion house labels on Bond Street to grunge markets and iconic shops where history was made. McQueen fanatics might like to swing by his old flat, number one at 7 Green Street in London’s Mayfair area. For something royal, stop by 26 Bruton Street, also in Mayfair, where the Queen’s dressmaker had his studio and made her wedding dress and coronation gown.

New-York

There is no shortage of fashion sights to see in New York. Head to New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) first to see the museum (tons of designer costumes on display) and then head out to shop. Macy’s is the city’s most iconic department store and the largest in the world. You can even join a group tour of the place! 5th Ave is worth walking along and SOHO is great for shopping the latest trends.

Oh Paris, the city where elegance and chic style are worn on the sleeve. For the iconic fashion houses head to Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré and Rue Saint Honoré where you’ll find Chanel, Lanvin, YSL, Chloe, among others. For something historical, find Coco Chanel’s old house on Rue Cambon. The Museum of Decorative Arts is a must, especially their fashion exhibitions.

Milan

Milan

When you arrive in Milan, head straight for the Quadrilatero d’Oro, a district in the city centre of Milan that houses all the big names. While it’s not the cheapest areas to shop in, it is considered the best place in Italy to window shop the biggest trends for the biggest prices. Even if you don’t intend to buy, the area is gorgeous in terms of architecture. Wealthy citizens built the most gorgeous mansions here in the 19th century.
